IMPACT

In a typical campaign for debt reduction, you will raise from one to two times your annual budget. So if you have a current yearly budget of $500,000, you could expect to raise on average from $750,000 to $1,000,000 to reduce your debt (this is money over and above your weekly offering).

In a typical campaign for capital expansion programs you will raise from two to three times your annual budget. So if you have a current yearly budget of $500,000 you could expect to raise on average from $1,000,000 to $1,500,000. This figure will vary from church to church. We have seen as much as four or five times a church’s budget figure raised.

In a typical campaign we see an increase of 10% to 30% in weekly giving over and above the special pledge amount as a result of involving 70% to 90% of the congregation in the process.

In a typical campaign without our three-year follow-up, a church could expect to see from 60% to 65% of the pledge amount collected over the life of the program. With our 3-Year follow-up we have seen an average of from 92% to 110% of the pledge amount collected. That makes a significant difference to your ability to budget the pledges and count on there being available funds for your project.

Many churches we have worked with have first tried doing their own campaigns to “save money”. The end result has been that they place a larger burden on their own internal resources to accomplish the campaign success and typically only raise 10% to 30% of their potential. When examining the dollar expenditure and the return it is a considerably higher return to allow us to conduct the campaign and provide a much higher return with less effort on your part. Which do you prefer, ten to thirty percent or the whole pie?

Our program succeeds because:

  • This is a spiritual experience in the life of each individual
  • This involves people who have not been involved before - breaking out of the norm of the 20/80 rule and involving 70 to 90% of the entire congregation
  • It succeeds because it is a planned approach that we will stay with, outside of crisis either within the church or with our team. In this instance, we will re-schedule the calendar..
  • It succeeds because it is a ministry of helps, consultant led, and a ministry where we lead you through the process.

What happens when we do a program:

  • Your people take ownership of the vision and become more spiritually in tune with the vision and goals of the church
  • Your people grow in their understanding of the scripture relating to stewardship. The impact is a long-term benefit, both for the people and the church, as they exercise those things the Lord has brought to them.
  • Your church will never be the same because of the increase of individuals who now take an active part in helping do the work of the body.
  • You will sense a greater excitement and enthusiasm as all of the members of your church learn to become doers of the word and not just "hearers only".
